(Ador House, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai)

The Pure Concept Home Store & Design Studio is a 360-degree, modern-vintage haven for interior styling solutions with soft furnishings, furniture customization, and everyday decorative accessories. Our founder Chanya Kaur, an interior designer and fabric expert has selected Ador House in Kala Ghoda for its Indo-Saracenic architecture, over 100 years old, with a hint of Art Deco influences.

Spread across 3600 sq. ft. and two floors connected by a spiral staircase, our inviting USP – functional minimalism blended with deep warmth – resonates with the cosmopolitan spirit of modern homeowners. The inspiration behind the store’s aesthetic is modern-vintage style interiors. We recently changed our brand’s signature colour to brown, adding a simplistic and calming touch to our store’s ambiance.

The expansive space is defined by brown ceilings and old-world high-beam grandeur (which Chanya and her team refused to cover up with a false ceiling), and subtle ambient lighting. The stunning Arte wallpaper pairs seamlessly with a blend of Bamboo-Sisal and Parquet flooring, adding a touch of understated elegance to our store. Wall coverings by Arte, William Morris, and Mark Alexander reflect our resonance with like-minded collaborators. William Morris and Mark Alexander wallpapers are retailed exclusively at The Pure Concept Home, for India.

The Pure Concept Home is also the first in the country to retail the niche French fragrance house – Mad Et Len. We handcraft exquisite products in small batches, using essential, undiluted oils of flowers, woods, and spices.
